MELHYDRO is a colourless, water-based, ready-to-use surface water repellent designed to protect exterior building materials exposed to weather conditions.

After application, the product reacts with the air and the substrate to reduce surface porosity, help prevent water penetration and allow the treated material to remain breathable.

It provides long-lasting protection against the accumulation of dirt, dust, moss and lichen, while also helping to protect building materials against frost-related damage.

Not Suitable for Drone Application

This product is not recommended for use with drones.

MELHYDRO is intended for manual or conventional application methods.

Applications

MELHYDRO is suitable for water-repellent treatment of roofs and facades.

It can be applied to dry or damp, non-dripping substrates including:

• roof tiles;

• concrete;

• brick;

• facade render;

• natural stone;

• other porous exterior building materials.

We do not recommend applying this product by drone.

Directions for use

Shake well before use.

Apply to clean, brushed surfaces that are free from loose or poorly adhering material.

Apply in ONE SINGLE COAT, working from the bottom upwards, until the substrate is saturated.

Spray from a distance of approximately 10 cm using a low-pressure sprayer.

Average consumption

Approximately 0.25 to 0.5 litres per m² in one coat, depending on the porosity of the substrate.

Drying Time

Approximately 24 hours.

Precautions for use

If whitish marks appear after drying, for example on non-absorbent or dark surfaces, remove them by washing with water and, if necessary, brushing.

Glass, aluminium and painted surfaces may be affected. Avoid splashing these materials and rinse immediately with water in case of accidental contact.

On surfaces where a change in appearance may be a concern, always carry out a preliminary test on a small, inconspicuous area.

Clean tools with water before the product has dried.
